Here are just a few works featured in the NOAA Fisheries show in the Blackburn industrial park May-June. Unfortunately, the show could not display all of the entries we supplied them with. The objective of the lesson was to create a piece of artwork showing an endangered marine animal that lives in the water between Maine and Virginia, and to also depict a threat to the animal. The students did a remarkable job with such a serious subject. Students executed their illustrations using a variety of drawing and collage materials. Older students worked in the style of illustrator; Eric Carle.
